Mellisai is an upcoming Kollywood Tamil action movie which is directed by Ranjith Jeyakodi. The Movie stars Vijay Sethupathi and Gayathri in the lead roles. Dinesh Krishnan is the Director Of Photography. Deepan Boopathy and Rethesh Velu of Rebel Studios are jointly producing the movie. Music for the movie is being composed by Sam CS.

Mellisai is a Tamil Movie which is directed by Ranjith, who was earlier worked as an associate for director Ram. Mellisai is said to be the story of modernized urban life. According to Ranjith, the principal characters in the movie are in one way or other related to music. This is the next movie for Vijay Sethupathi this year, after his super-hit movie Naanum Rowdy Dhaan.

According to news sources Mellisai is said to be musical romance subject. It tends us to raise the thought for choosing Vijay Sethupathi for this role. The Director shared that it could be due to the fact that musical romance would be a new angle for the actor to explore and also probably because the screenplay is very racy. Eventhough songs of the movie was not released officially , it had got good reviews from critics.
